Heyo, I've got a real brain teaser here. I used to have a ping <30, maybe max 40. Now one day I started my SOF and noticed my gameplay wasn't as smooth as usual. In other words i sucked ass. I noticed that when I shot it took the bullets a bit longer to reach the enemy. So I checked my ping and saw it had increased till 40-50. I tried the /rate & /snaps thingy, didn't help. I haven't changed anything from settings, I didn't hit my router/modem/internet supplier, I wasn't downloading anything, I had nothing else opened except my iTunes (which i've allways got opened), I asked Synchro about what I could do or check, he helped me but nothing seemed to improve. I hoped you guys had some solutions before I reinstall my entire SOF. Thanks in advance !

2)Problem got even worse. 11 v 11 = ping -> 70-100. I don't know if its related with the amount of players because it's not always like this. And maybe it's usefull to know the situation a bit.
I'm using wireless internet, playing on a laptop, my room is separated from the room with the Modem/router, and this modem/router thing is below a desk where my parents are with their pc's.
Don't know if this helps but I guess it won't make it worse.

Hello

well, as i said on clan chat, if you have a bad signal with your wireless connection, you can try this:
1. try to get closer from the modem to see if things get better.
2. try to place the modem in high.

I hope this could help you a bit.

Yea that's a problem. The modem is put below the desk where my parents are, because there's no room for it on their desk. And the desk in my room with my pc, is put in a corner far away from the modem. Smile

Howdy, guess what? Problem is (partially) solved!! Ping went down a bit, game sped up a bit! Still not perfect yet but you won't hear me complaining Smile

I lied >.< My ping DID go down, but my gameplay is still weird, It changed to those 'spikes' from a few seconds and it switches all the time, smooth-slooooooooow-smooth-sloooooooow...
This is a new symptom! (I feel like House)
